AQUAflush

Harnessing the power of volumetric cleansing utilising the principals of attenuation and hydraulic acceleration, AQUAflush by Flusher2, is an innovative drainage run cleaning device, that is ideally suited for use where drainage runs are not able to achieve the required self-cleansing flow or where pipe runs are known to suffer from backfalls or bellies.
Primary Benefits
- Suitable for use with Storm & Foul Water drainage systems.
- Continuously cleans and maintains drainage runs for optimal performance.
- Repeat cleansing is performed during every rainfall event providing a series of cleansing flushes that remove sedimentation over significant distances.
- Prevent sedimentation.
- Potentially reducing maintenance activities & costs.
- Blockage prevention.
- Sediment can be mobilised to more conveniently located catch-pits where ease of access enables quicker & easier removal of any accumulations.
- Improved hydraulic efficiency.
- Underused capacity within the upper extents of the drainage system can be effectively utilised, potentially reducing the likelihood of flooding further down the system.
- Unique push-fit system can be quickly and easily installed in pre-existing or new catch-pits. Can be supplied with notched gates for continuous flow.
Utilising a weighted tipping gate in a self-contained housing AQUAflush is supplied in either of two forms:
- Curved Invert units for installation in benched drainage runs,
- Flat bottomed units for installation in catch-pits.
Both options can be supplied complete with overflows, if preferred, to prevent the possibility that blockage of the device could result in blocked drainage runs.
AQUAflush in action
Already in use with Northumbrian Water, Southern Water & Thames Water, AQUAflush can be located either upstream or downstream of any problematic pipe runs due to the unique way that the product flushes through the system downstream of its location whilst simultaneously drawing flow from upstream.
For particularly problematic locations, installing benched chambers within the drainage system can further increase the efficacy of AQUAflush as the cleansing effect is magnified through the continuous flow within the system.
If installation of benched chambers is not possible, extendable stainless steel bypass sleeves can be installed in pre-existing catch-pits.
AQUAflush has the added benefits of providing rodent control and making CCTV surveys easier with a reduced risk of equipment loss or damage.
